Privacy Policy

The “I'm” app and service (the “Service”, “we”). Effective date: 17 August 2026.

We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what data the Service collects, how it is used, stored and protected, and what rights you have.

Key point about your messages. Private messages and calls in the Service's messenger are protected by end-to-end encryption (E2EE): the keys are stored only on your devices, and we are technically unable to read the contents of your private chats.

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is the company that owns the Service (being incorporated in the UAE). Privacy contact: privacy@im-cosmo.com.

2. What data we collect

Account data: phone number (for sign-in and verification), username.
Profile: name, city, date of birth, bio, languages, roles, photos — whatever you provide yourself.
Content: posts, listings, jobs, comments, dating actions, talent and wallet operations.
Technical data: device and app-version information, and data required for the operation and security of the Service.
Private messages: transmitted encrypted and not available to us in plain text.

3. How we use the data

To run the services: profile, feed, dating, listings, jobs, wallet, talent exchange.
For sign-in and account protection, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
To display your public profile and its content to other users (this is core to the Service).
To calculate status metrics (stars, rating, talent quote) based on your activity.
For support, product improvement and notifications.

4. Public and private

Your profile, posts, listings and jobs are public by nature and visible to other users and in search. Private messages and calls are private and encrypted. You decide what to publish.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may engage infrastructure providers (hosting, message delivery, payments) solely to operate the Service and under confidentiality terms, and may disclose data where required by law.

6. Content moderation

Public content may be reviewed by automated tools and following user reports for prohibited content (violence, pornography, fraud, etc.). Private messages are not moderated and remain encrypted.

7. Storage and security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards. Private messages are protected by end-to-end encryption. Data is retained for as long as necessary to operate the Service or as required by law.

8. Your rights

Access and correct your data in the app.
Delete your account and related data upon request.

9. Age

The Service is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page; we will mark material changes with an effective date.
